The Capital Area Camera Club
The Capital Area Camera Club was established in 1990 as a forum to share
the love of photography and creative photographic techniques, to establish
new friendships, and to give talented local photographers in the Maine capital
area the opportunity to share and exhibit their work. Club membership includes
novice, amateurs, serious hobbyists and professional photographers.
Membership Dues
Collection of dues allows the CACC to help the KVAA cover operating expenses
for the Harlow Gallery building; to fund 1st/2nd/3rd places prizes for the annual Maine Photography Show;
to pay for travel expenses for speakers, presenters, photographers; Fred
Richards Scholarship; Spring (educational) Photography Workshop; to purchase
equipment such as club's laptop, projector, screen and software; and a yearly
cost for the CACC web site.
Club Information
Meetings are held at the Harlow Gallery, 160 Water Street, Hallowell,
ME. Membership is open to everyone who enjoys photography.
New members and guests are always Wanted and Welcome. Come and join the fun!
Our purpose is sharing photographic information, educational workshops,
presentations and exhibits. CACC membership dues starts in September,
through end of May, you can join the club anytime during the year and pay
your dues for the current club year.
